Electric Car!

Very exciting day today! Isaac has spent the last month building an electric car at school. Grandad W will remember the pain of Rosie building hers two years ago! It's a very hard project which tested problem solving skills and temper control! Anyway, today was race day and guess who won the prize for the fastest car?!? Isaac! Here's a picture of Isie's car and certificate, as well as Rosie's certificate from 2 years ago for having the slowest car.

Saw one of Isie's favourite cars over the weekend. It's a Lamborghini (probably spelt wrong) just in case you're not up on your cars

Tranquil Moment

Have had a crazy week with both Adrian & myself travelling for work, plus soccer, plus swim practice, plus two swim meets. I enjoyed a peaceful sunny walk with Lizzie by the river before heading off to the office this morning.

Alberta Festival of Bands

I had the pleasure of accompanying Rosie and a few other grade 7 & 8 students to Red Deer on Wednesday for a music festival. They played 3 songs and had a workshop after.

Ouch!

Isie did a super-tackle last night at soccer ... And ended up at the hospital. It's not broken, thankfully, but there's a chance he's done some growth plate damage. No weight bearing for 5 days. Despite getting home at 11pm last night, he wants to go to school today.

Sunday Morning

Here's a pic of Adrian & Lizzie by the river this morning. Kids were at the rec centre swimming so we escaped for a tranquil walk.

New Car!

Here it is!! All I can say is that it had better be more reliable than the van! The van is still in a garage in Calgary and Adrian & I are still in shock at the $2000 quote we just got to fix the latest engine warning alert.
